Credit Cards are ruling the market from the last 60 years. But, 2019 has marked the beginning of a new horizon for Credit Card starting Apple Card and now Paytm First Unlimited 1% Cashback Credit Card.



Paytm First Unlimited 1% Cashback Credit Card Launched with Amazing Benefits and Offers: 

  • On 14th May '19, Paytm’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma launched a new Paytm First credit card in collaboration with Citi Bank. 
  • Paytm First credit card provides one percent cash back on all transactions made by the user, without any restrictions.
  • All the cash back earned during the month on Paytm First credit card will be directly adjusted in the bill. So, no more tension between points redemption and expiry. 
  • Paytm First credit card is a contactless-enabled card, so it enables you to transact up to Rs. 2000 within PIN restriction.
  • Paytm First credit card is issued by Citi. So, you can get the benefit of both worlds. Citi bank offers will be part of this credit card.
  • As per Paytm’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma, this card will be launched with joining offers ranging between Rs. 10,000 to 15,000.
  • Paytm First credit card will be accepted in India and Internationally.
  • All the transactions done on Paytm First credit card can be tracked through the Paytm First Card passbook. 



Is Paytm First Credit Card Free?

As per the initial details shared by the company, this card will come with an annual fee of Rs 500, which will be waived off on spends exceeding Rs 50,000 per year. This can be easily achieved even with approx. Rs. 4,200 spend per month.

How to apply for Paytm First Credit Card?

Paytm will soon launch an option to apply for Credit Card in their Paytm app. Also, as per the company, Paytm will identify potential customers based on creditworthiness using a selection tool, jointly developed by Citi and Paytm. So, initial cards are expected to be shared with people with good credit scores inline with CRED club membership.
